As a founding partner of Hutcheson Bowers LLLP, Shannon divides her time between advising financial services clients on complex regulatory issues, overseeing the firm's national financial services arbitration docket, and counseling the firm's employment law clients on a myriad of compliance issues. Being Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Shannon is often hired by senior management and boards of directors to lead independent investigations into alleged corporate wrongdoing and to first chair employment-related litigation.
Shannon attended the University of Texas School of Law, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the Order of the Coif. After graduation, Shannon practiced commercial litigation with the global firm of Baker Botts LLP for over twelve years before co-founding her firm. She received a B.A. in political science, with honors, from Austin College, where she was honored as a Sumners Scholar.
Shannon loves fundraising for her favorite causes and political candidates, and serving on nonprofit and professional boards of directors. She and her family bleed burnt orange and you can often find them at University of Texas sporting events cheering on the Horns. She and her husband, Mark, are the proud parents of two young adult daughters.
